THE FOUNDER

Children in the son was founded Michelle Kelly Sims, who visited Romania on a short term missions trip and witnessed the horrible conditions in orphanages where children were forced to live. With an overwhelming burden to help these children, Michelle answered the Lord’s call and moved to Romania in 1998 to work full time. In 2002, she married Daniel and they remained in Romania until 2008 when they felt the Lord calling them back to the United States.

The focus of the ministry is to meet the needs of the children in distress and to prevent infant abandonment by promoting education and Christian principles. The Romanian staff does an amazing job of demonstrating the love of Jesus to all of the families and children served. In all projects, Jesus is given the glory for what is accomplished.
